daa Launches Language Scheme
This week sees daa launch its second Language Scheme.
daa launches its second language scheme this week which will see the company continue to raise the profile of the Irish language through improved levels of information and services in Irish for customers and staff.
This Scheme, which was prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Official Languages Act 2003, has been confirmed by the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. It commences on January 16, 2017 and will remain in force for a period of three years or until a new scheme has been confirmed, whichever is later.
Improved services include the provision of relevant information in Irish on our websites in addition to the issuing of press releases bilingually where appropriate.
daa would like to thank those involved in the preparation of the scheme and for the submissions received through the public consultation process.
