May 8, 2020

This month sees daa launch its third Language Scheme.

daa launches its third language scheme this month which will see the company continue to raise the profile of the Irish language through improved levels of information and services in Irish for customers and staff.

The Scheme, which was prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Official Languages Act 2003, has been confirmed by the The Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Commencing on May 8, 2020, the Scheme will remain in force for a period of three years or until a new scheme has been confirmed, whichever is later.

Improved services include the provision of relevant information in Irish on our websites in addition to the issuing of press releases bilingually where appropriate.

daa would like to thank those involved in the preparation of the Scheme and for the submissions received through the public consultation process.
