The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) is responsible for the economic regulation of airport charges at Irish airports. Dublin Airport is currently the only airport in the State subject to economic regulation. Determining airport charges on the basis of independent, objective and transparent criteria, and in accordance with sound economic principles, is an important part of the regulatory framework. The IAA sets the maximum level of airport charges at Dublin Airport following consultation with daa, airlines and other stakeholders.
